Text talk is a program that combines quality trade book read aloud with explicit vocabulary instructions to help in building reading comprehension skills.

Smart Response Interactive System
Funded to Troy Risse, Lomira Middle School
One way to education the tech-savvy students is with the use of new technology. This interactive and flexible technology will help hold students interest and more efficiently education this generation of students.

Web-Based Lessons
Funded to Jerry Danner, Lomira High School
This application will provide the high school math department with the full fucntion of a traveling smart board and the ability to create web-based video lessons and review materials which include video and audio of the lessons. These lessons can be used as reviews for tests, accommodating absent and struggling students.

Lifetime Fitness Adventures
Funded to Justin Stoegbauer, Lomira High School
Geocaching is the project for this application, which involves a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices. By giving our students and opportunity to learn and experience geocaching it would introduce them to a wonderful lifetime fitness activity.

Electrical Circuits
Funded to Linda Baumann, St. John's Lutheran School
This project would enhance the teaching of electricity and circuits in the classroom, thus adding supplies needed for the inquiry-based experiments conducted by the students.
